BERLIN — German is the first language other than English this blogger could speak a few words of as a little kid because of several 80s songs that were hits in the United States.
When mom or dad scolded, the reply would be “was ist los mit dir mein Schatz?” (roughly “what’s wrong with you, dear?”). That’s from the 1982 song “Da Da Da” by the German band Trio.
German singer Nena and her eponymous band, hit #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 on March 3, 1984 with the song “99 Luftballoons.” To this day, this blogger can still sing the whole song in German.
The meanest teacher in elementary school was German – Mrs. Lentz. But we bonded when she overheard the singing one time and gave the assignment to translate it to English (of course without Google, internet or computers). That’s when it was discovered that the English title of the song, “99 Red Balloons” wasn’t necessarily correct. We also must acknowledge that Nena, at age 62 today, is using her platform to speak out against lockdowns, mandates and other COVID garbage in Germany.
The point is that when covering stories in different languages, translation software/apps are necessary in 2022. The COVID Blog™ has three of them. One inadvertent positive of running this website for 20 months is that it’s now easy to recognize the word “vaccine” in at least 20 different languages (“impfung” in German). And while researching German stories specifically, you always look for the word “impfgegner” (anti-vaxxer) to determine who and what said people are.
The translations are never perfect, and don’t necessarily capture all emotional and otherwise elements of stated thoughts. But it’s very safe to conclude that Ms. Margarete Stokowski is a die-hard vaxx zealot who will go down defending her Holy Serum.
Universal virtue signaling
Ms. Stokowski was born in Poland, but has lived in Germany for nearly all of her life. She is a writer for Der Spiegel, the largest German news website by traffic. Ms. Stokowski, 36, is also a freelancer for several other publications. She is the “loudest voice of German feminism,” according to Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin. Ms. Stokowski has published two books, including Die letzten Tage des Patriarchats (The Last Days of Patriarchy) in 2018. She has 350,000 combined followers on Twitter and Instagram.
Ms. Stokowski received her first injection on April 23, 2021. It’s unclear and irrelevant which brand she received. The caption reads, “the juice is in.”
Four days later, April 27, 2021, she published an article about so-called “vaccine envy.” Ms. Stokowski wrote:
“My vaccination envy flared up one day when I heard from several people within a short time that they had surprisingly received an invitation to be vaccinated and didn’t know why. If we want to get away from destructive envy, it would be helpful if as many vaccinated people as possible share their skills, if they can: by helping others to book an appointment.”
We wrote about so-called vaccine envy being the mainstream media propaganda du jour on April 8, 2021. It’s just more evidence that mainstream media is a singular entity, following orders from central commanders.

Ms. Stokowski received her second injection on June 6, 2021. The caption reads, “Second sip inside, in two weeks I’ll lick your nose. At the vaccination center, I was asked if I was that author who wrote ‘vagina down’ or something.’ Yes, almost.”
She published an article entitled “We must woo the hesitant” on July 27, 2021. Ms. Stokowski declared, among other things, that the non-vaccinated are too stupid and too lazy to receive the injections.
“But if it is the case that the level of education or a lack of language skills prevent people from vaccinating, then the picture that is so often drawn of the ignorant or lazy people who refuse to vaccinate and those who hesitate is not complete – they may then have, if they are still unsure, no weird, selfish concept of freedom or any idea of solidarity, but simply too little information.
It is not important now to insult the unvaccinated as eloquently as possible or to discuss their supposed concept of freedom or solidarity, but to make them understand that now would be a very good time for a vaccination.”
She appears to support mandatory vaccines for all workers, despite occasional fence-straddling in some of her articles.
Ms. Stokowski received a booster injection on November 25. She captioned the tweet with, “bitches need boosters.”
She posted via Instagram another booster shot promo on December 8. The caption reads, “I’m doing everything I can to break the wave.”
Ms. Stokowski also has quite the interesting idea to make masks fit better.
“I was vaccinated three times and now I have Long COVID.”
Ms. Stokowski started feeling sick on or around January 23. She tested positive for so-called COVID-19 on January 25.
Ms. Stokowski said on January 30 that her symptoms feel like ingesting too much Ecstacy (MDMA), plus a “tingling” and fever.
February 4 was Day 12 of Ms. Stokowski’s symptoms. She said a PCR “test” confirmed that she had Omicron. Of course there’s no such thing as an Omicron test.

Yesterday I received an email again afterwards about my PCR test at the very beginning, which said that they now know that it is Omikron.
Two days later, February 6, she had a negative PCR test. Ms. Stokowski tweeted, “I can go out again but I wouldn’t get far because of dizzy spells but I should!”
Ms. Stokowski wrote on February 14 (Day 22) that she slept for 13 hours, and still has headaches and weakness due to Omicron.
She started missing work thereafter. Ms. Stokowski wrote on March 1:
“Day 37 from the onset of symptoms, mild course bitch can’t go to the cinema but I got popcorn in bed. Today, of course, again no column and book file not touched for a long time. I’m still brain dead. Despite booster vaccination AND booster energy. Hey, to be honest… when I was in my mid-twenties, I had kidney failure and it sucked, but I recovered faster then than I do now with this filthy epidemic.”
She published a new article entitled, “Freedom Day or Not, Long COVID is a Problem” on March 15. Note that “Freedom Day” was when COVID restriction were originally supposed to end in late March. Ms. Stokowski was now referring to her prolonged illness as so-called “Long COVID,” and was seemingly questioning the effectiveness of the injections.
“I was reasonably healthy and vaccinated three times and now have Long Covid,” she wrote in the article. Ms. Stokowski also reported something that is quite common among the vaxx-injured. Doctors had dismissed her complaints, and told her to drink more water and take pain killers.

She then blamed her post-injection illness on male doctors who dismissed her Long COVID as menopause. Ms. Stokowski also blamed German government policies that she said are more favorable to the economy than treating Long COVID.
By April, she was regularly missing work and referring to her post-injection condition as Long COVID in nearly every tweet and Instagram post.
Fast forward to July and today. Ms. Stokowski has been absent from work since April. She constantly has resting heart rates well over 100 bpm (normal bpm for a non-athlete woman her age is around 79).
Ms. Stokowski tagged German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach in a tweet on July 19, insinuating that a lot of people commit suicide due to Long COVID.
Despite all of the foregoing, Ms. Stokowski is still living in pure, unadulterated denial.

Speaking of German Fauci (Karl Lauterbach), the jokes literally write themselves in this world of perpetual deceit and manipulation. Lauterbach tweeted on August 5 that, despite being quadruple-vaxxed, he was sick with so-called COVID-19. He’s also taking Pfizer’s Paxlovid for treatment.
The World Health Organization wished Lauterbach a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile Lauterbach issued new guidance for Germany last week, particularly that fully vaccinated now means boosters every three months. Masks will be required for long-distance travel on trains, buses and airplanes from October 2022 to April 2023. These are just recommendations right now. But the Cabinet and Parliament are expected to enact all of it.
Germany has been the most notorious country in the world, except for maybe Italy, for killing the elderly with the injections. One of the very first articles we wrote on The COVID Blog™ back in January 2021 was about 10 post-injection German nursing home residents dying in a four day stretch. Dr. Reiner Fuellmich then interviewed a whistleblower who reported in March 2021 that 31 nursing home residents, with military personnel present, died immediately after forced injections.
Ms. Stokowski is a journalist with a platform. And she has failed the German people by playing prostitute for mainstream media and big pharma. This blogger gives 80%-plus of vaxxed people the benefit of the doubt due to ignorance, stupidity and/or coercion. Journalists and doctors receive no such deference. Granted natural compassion will lead to a prayer for this woman. But you reap what you sow.

I spoke to a medical fellow I know. She had gotten full blown Covid after initial jab and not sure of number of boosters. Totally blamed it on her booster “losing its’ effectiveness” and take Paxlovid. I so wanted to ask her “do you read anything beyond what the WHO or FDA tells you? Do you read any other medical studies beyond those approved by Fauci?” Sadly I know what her answer would be.
Sounds like my youngest daughter. Just got her Physician Assistant license and she is completely “indoctrinated” by the cult. Double jabbed and boosted. Calls me a conspiracy theorist because I know the truth. Now has blood problems and lung dysfunction. But it’s NOT THE VACCINE. What a sad situation these people are in.

I had a weird heartbeat after one Pfizer. If she had so many it’s not surprising at all. My immune system is not that good but omicron was like a super minor cold. And I was pregnant then! When I’m pregnant, I catch any cold and flu which take forever to heal.
I remember when I was arguing with my mom as to why I’m not taking another injection. I was emotionally accused of reading unprofessional conspiracy sites and having no medical degree to make judgments.
All I asked beforehand is, are you really sure it will help? It’s a risky vaccine …before SHTF. My dad didn’t really want it but got anyway.
When both of my parent got their 3rd one, I didn’t say anything. Then my mom remarked, why don’t I ask how they are feeling after their vaccine.

P.S. The vax is a good way to reveal dysfunctional family dynamics and people who are ‘set’ for such relations. In a healthy family, you won’t be forced and manipulated into something that concerns your body and your life. Different opinions are respected.
My heart goes out to you. Although not my parents, (long since passed) I have family members that I love who would not heed any warnings. It is difficult bringing up certain subjects with them now and I’ve learned to use short, non-offensive remarks to reply. I mostly try to avoid anything related to covid, injections and their or mine state of health. Staying clear of the vaxx has not exempted me from suffering the heartache and pain of those I love. Dysfunctional dynamics is spot on. I wish you and your family well as I fear many of us are experiencing the same sadness.
I agree. Most of my family is uninjected except my father who has undiagnosed mental health issues and has had problems relating to everyone (family or not) his entire life. When he got brainwashed into getting the shots, he insulted everyone else who disagreed with him.
True! I have family that took 3 doses and never told me why I don’t, why I chosed etc. I was also very ferm with them, I don’t allow them anymore to mess with my choices, manipulate etc. And discussion closed, I was supported and so on.
Then I have others that told me I am a victim of the conspiracy theories, when I was frustrated that I lost trips and opportunities because I chose not to get it they told me: if you want that thing so bad, you would have the vax and that’s it. And lots of things, including suggesting that i need to go to a psychologist. Nope dude, I am not depressed, I am mad and sad for a good reason: they stole our lifes and put restrictions for no reason, banning us the free will and all our rights for a scam! Of course I am mad and revolted. Now that was gone, no restrictions anymore and I am super fine when things get well, but still stryggle to acept what I have lost. I will never forget nor forgive, even Christian as I am, I cannot forgive them for what they did (the ones imposing the jab and those that said things like: everybody should be forced injected).
So I cut ties with that family members. And that’s it. Too toxic and they were always toxic, passive agressive towards me. Always trying to diminish me, even if I had better school results, better jobs, better decisions in things that mattered and so on. Yet I am not a conformist and I think deep down they really hate me for this because it is easier than hate themselves for lacking courage in many things.

Sorry about your dad. My dad died eight months ago from rapid-onset CJD. It was horrible, because he became unresponsive in a week, and never left that state, dying two months later. His wife refused to let his five children see him, and shuttled him from care home, to care home as he deteriorated. We raged…but were helpless to help him.
I begged him not to give into her nagging…but he did…and then tried to hide it from me. When his wife slipped up and spilled the beans in front of me, she actually gloated. The attitude was: “I won”.
As you pointed out, it was just the final act of a miserable movie. For 34 years she nagged him to do whatever she wanted. He resisted, but always gave in, in the end. Then it cost him his life. He had extreme good health for 98 years. He worked in his shop every day, and ran errands in his own pick-up. He was always on the go. My husband was told two weeks ago he needed a weekly test to return to the office. Most days he works at home. On Thursday he needed to go in to work and needed to do their stupid tests. He told a friend of ours that only non-vaxxed people would need to test. I was furious about this knowing what we all know that the vaxxed are the problem. Anyway he got a message from a friend of his today that his friend has covid. My husband asked him when he started getting sick, he said Thursday. My husband told me he was in this guys office on Thursday. So my unjabbed husband had to test for a virus he doesn’t have while his vaxxed and boosted friend doesn’t and the boosted and vaxxed friend shows symptoms on that same day. What?
I believe some lawsuits are coming on the basis of discrimination and violation of hippa rules in the works. Have your husband printout all communications from the company as proof. I know if the pending suit is won, I am going to stick it to my employer too. Payback will feel good.

I just smile when vax zealots who are slowly killing themselves rant at me being unvaxed. I cannot help it, they have been horrible to me and my family, now I just enjoy it when they give me the Pfizer smile and wink. I just cannot believe it that people still believe in long covid, I just cant any more. Every unvaxed person I know has not had more than a moderate cold at worse. The vaxed are just fading away before my eyes.

what i find nasty in that whole story unrolling before our eyes, is that, i could have reacted like they do, when i was younger, bitter, nastier. Life got me some slaps and it got me a bit sweeter, a bit less stubborn.
This lady isn’t that young, some are, some are old and react the same… If they had had different experiences, they would have not fallen in this ugly trap.
It’s like we are all put in the Milgram experiment, only some really… ignorant people, or simply too young to know, don’t see the obvious, and they hit and hit that button. And we are all watching, and a lot of them hit that button.

Can’t vaccinate against stupidiy
I work in the hospital and the majority of covid tests are negative and have been for many months. What we have mostly been treating since these death jabs started is “vaccine” injuries. Of course it’s all gaslighted. Lately I’ve seen a few toddlers with trouble breathing and an 11 month old who fainted with grey lips and trouble breathing. It boggles the mind how these “moonies” could voluntarily let their babies be subjects of a medical experiment. Then there’s the 13 year old with swollen testicles. Seen that a handful of times. I’ve never liked vaccinating my cats and stopped their vaccines beyond their kitten shots. With the dogs, same thing, they got their initial puppy shots and a couple biyearly rabies and we’re done. and that for legal reasons. These so called vaccines are never so harmless that they should be rubber stamped. it’s always a tradeoff and as we know sometimes it’s pure liability and no benefit especially with these gene modification shots.
