NEW YORK — “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Those powerful words were first written in the 1905 George Santayana book “Reason in Common Sense.” Winston Churchill changed it a bit in a 1948 House of Commons speech: “those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Unfortunately neither version resonated with most Americans and others around the globe.
Once upon a time in the United States of America, a noble profession called “journalism” existed. Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite inspired a generation of young, ambitious journalists in the 1970s. Mike Wallace was one of their contemporaries. He was a 21-time Emmy Award winner for his work on the long-running CBS new magazine show 60 Minutes.
Millions of Americans watched the 60 Minutes broadcast on Sunday, November 4, 1979. Only about 20% of U.S. households had cable television at the time. Thus most only had five or six channels to choose from. Despite the large audience and powerful reporting, this episode was forgotten and buried. That is until now.

The flu season is upon us. Which type will we worry about this year, and what kind of shots will we be told to take? Remember the swine flu scare of 1976? That was the year the U.S. government told us all that swine flu could turn out to be a killer that could spread across the nation, and Washington decided that every man, woman and child in the nation should get a shot to prevent a nation-wide outbreak, a pandemic.
Well 46 million of us obediently took the shot, and now 4,000 Americans are claiming damages from Uncle Sam amounting to three and a half billion dollars because of what happened when they took that shot. By far the greatest number of the claims – two thirds of them are for neurological damage, or even death, allegedly triggered by the flu shot.
Keep in mind, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) was signed into law in 1986. It is the first of two laws (PREP Act of 2005 is the other) that provide a double layer of tort immunity for vaccine manufacturers. Thus you could actually sue the manufacturers for damages back then.
There’s absolutely no way any 2021 journalist with access would/will ever grill a Fauci, Walensky or other government tool peddling these injections. Guys like Murrow, Wallace and Cronkite (the namesake of my journalism alma mater) are the reasons this blogger became a journalist.

Mrs. Roberts, who as featured in the story, did ultimately get all of her medical bills paid by the government, according to a 2009 interview. But there is virtually no recourse for anyone injured by these shots today. Only 5,351 people were compensated by the government due to vaccine injuries from 2006 to 2018. Most of those were from flu shots.
There have already been 16,000 adverse effects, including 929 deaths, reported as a result of mRNA shots in just two months. The best way to protect yourself is to avoid mRNA and all other experimental shots altogether.

I heard that the swine flu scare from 1976 is the reason why pharma companies did everything to make the public pay for compensations. In 2009 – the time of the last swine flu scare – Sweden payed btw up to 1 Million Euro for Pandemrix vaccine victims. In Sweden alone (population: 10 Mio.) over 400 people – most of them on the younger side – requested compensation payments. Only about 300 people officially died from the swine flu in Germany (population: 83 Mio.)
I ended up with Guillain-Barré syndrome from these shots back in I think ’78…I was in the hospital for almost a year learning to walk again. At the time no one knew what was going on. They thought I had polio or some other more or less known disease. I was 13 or 14 at the time. The only reason they said I survived was because I was young and the nerve damage repaired itself eventually. I was put into the New England Journal of medicine as one of the youngest to survive. My claim to fame I suppose. Most older people that had this disease usually would die because it would go higher up into the body. Into the respiratory area and if that happened you were done. What it did was destroy the nerves so your bodily automatic functions would no receive their signals to do what they do. Like for me I ending up not being able to walk. It paralyzed me. For others they would end up paraplegic in a wheelchair for their life or die because they could not breath anymore. Of course I only learned about all of this as I got older. In fact most of the knowledge I have now is from the last 5 to 10 years or so. This disease I just found out carries over into adulthood. That it causes some kind of effect being very sensitive to pain and weakness in my limbs. It never goes away. I never knew this. I just learned this from a wellness nurse that I have now from other health problems I have. Also,another DR. that I see, he had a posting taped to one of the examining rooms door that I was in. It stated that you needed to get your flu shot BUT it stated three reasons that you shouldn’t if you had any one of these issues. Well,as I read the list ,guess what was written on there. Number 3- Guillain-Barré syndrome . I said “well, I guess I can never get a flu shot” and he says why. And I said because I had Guillain-Barré syndrome. He says “OH” well then you better not get it. So needless to say I cannot and I will not EVER get a flu shot. I have even stated to my DR’s today that I will ABSOLUTELY not get the WuFlu Covid vaxx. EVER! So don’t bother asking. And yet they keep pushing me . And I tell them over and over NEVER. I already know what it’s like to have something go wrong from a shot. And since I am alot older now I won’t survive if something does go wrong like when I was young.
I don’t understand why people are so uncritical when it comes to being injected with an experimental vaccine. Don’t they realize that they’re being used as guinea pigs? Where’s common sense?
I think also too that by the media constantly referring to these experimental shots as ‘vaccines’, this has certain clear associations for people and if they don’t bother to go and do a lot of critical research (which is not always easy, and can be difficult) themselves, research that exists outside the MSM bubble (let’s face it, how many people are simply all too happily stuck in this), they will be in for nasty shot when they do get the shot and lo and behold it’s not what they thought it was. Even after the terrible reactions and side effects (or are these precisely intended effects?) set in, they still go on thinking “oh, I must be having an extra strong immune reaction” and all the rest. Sometimes their doctor will even tell them nonsense like this too because they all refuse to say what the shot is really doing to people for fear of losing their jobs.
So there is a terrible mismatch here being exploited in the mainstream mind. If you wanted to design a biological weapon then of course you would have to introduce it as a Trojan horse and only people fully yet naively believing it is really good for them will line up for it. From a eugenicists perspective this is ideal, since the wheat and chaff does its own sorting.
The psychological operations at play here run extremely deep and have been built on decades of propaganda and conditioning. Even if we say for arguments sake maybe there once was a period where real vaccines were safe and effective, and benefited everyone beyond estimation, the deepest and most important fact people must really wake up to now is holding that line of thought and reasoning may end up killing or maiming you now. So in the interests of survival it must simply be abandoned and discarded, because the damage is coming from people who still think this way but they do not realise they are in a situation in which this way of thinking no longer has any validity. But often it is too late before they realise this and this is why the program is still able to continue.
Even just now, scrolling through the MSM news outlet channels here in Australia I see one segment on A Current Affair titled, “Pregnant Women plea for access to Pfizer Vaccine.” If any REAL research had been done, I think pregnant women would at the very least be hesitant to do this. There is a concerning level of risk and many unknowns about the effect on an unborn baby. They would definitely not be PLEADING for it if they existed outside the MSM bubble. But try to even gently show them the real data and information, (most of it from official sources anyway!) and you will be charged as a dangerous conspiracy nutcase or the like, it is remarkable how this mainstream style of thought automatically and unconsciously defends itself against attack. I mean all we’re trying to do here is save your health and life, we don’t care what you call us, just listen and try to act on the information. It’s important.
But this illustrates the powerful spell the MSM wields.
If this is your sole and main source of information, then you will quickly come to the conclusion that Covid is worse than the Black Death plague, and that nothing is more important than getting vaccinated! How convenient all known cheap and powerfully effective treatments have been systematically suppressed. Would be interesting hearing about those wouldn’t it? Maybe the vaccine would even begin to seem less important. But here we are with pregnant women literally begging to be injected with experimental poisons!
i imagine if the true death rates from Covid (much lower) and the true rate of adverse reactions to the shot (much higher) were released, many people would hold a different image in their mind. But we are in the weird situation where widespread censorship and information control is occurring, giving ordinary people a hugely distorted picture of reality, and it’s so sad to see people regret their unknown naivety of the time, because once u get the shot and suffer any bad adverse reactions, you’re on your own. The doctors won’t care about you because they can’t. They’re completely unable and unwilling to make any connection between the shot and any adverse reactions suffered. Either they know about it and don’t care, in which case they are corrupt and grossly negligent, or they truly have been brainwashed themselves into the “safe and effective” does-no-harm mantra, in which case you may get diagnosed with a mental disorder because obviously you must be imagining or making up your symptoms , because it’s the only explanation because it can’t be the vaccine because it’s safe. Don’t you just love the merry-go-round thinking of these prestigious doctors everywhere! Took him 12 years of med school to do that!
Benedict, this is a question that I ask myself every day. The people are simply conditioned. They want to be good people.
Also the other thing that really gets me is this jarring cognitive dissonance being exploited by Big Pharma, the MSM narrative which could easily be one of the most sinister components here – the sheer amount of people who continue to reiterate the reasons WHY they got the shot, to “protect their families and loved ones”.
This is a truly insidious and dangerous lie being presented by the MSM which it seems is very powerful and effective in playing on people’s moral and emotional heart-strings. Every official study for every experimental shot all clearly state that the shot WILL NOT PREVENT you from getting Covid, and you can still transmit it even if you are ‘vaccinated’. None of the trials were even set up to demonstrate this, all that was focused on was some meaner amount of symptom reduction. That’s it. And it can’t even do that very well, some creative statistics manipulation was used to make it appear like it’s “95% effective”. Real rate is so much lower it’s embarrassing. But if people knew that, they wouldn’t line up so eagerly to get it now would they?
But try and point this out and you’re some kind of terrible cantankerous human being set on ruining everyone else’s good time.
So so it is both dishonest and dangerous to let people believe the experimental shot they are having might act in some way like older vaccines were supposed to. Dishonest because it will not prevent getting it and transmitting it, which has been proven in many cases now. Dangerous because people naively and innocently believing they did the right thing to protect their frail grandparents, even if the shot doesn’t maim or kill them, for them to be under the impression that that shot will now prevent them passing it along is simply not true. And many people might get hurt in this case.
All the more reason to stay truly informed during these trying times.

Brian, thank you for covering the swine flu. It’s so similar to the COVID-19 narrative that it’s eerie. How quickly people forget.
I was almost 12 years old in 1976 when my mother, an RN, made me get the 1st swine flue “vaccine” because she felt I was hugh risk due to asthma and allergies. I was sick with “flu-like symptoms” for a week afterward. The only ” vaccines” I’ve gotten since then are tetanus and rabies because I worked in veterinary emergency medicine for 24 years. In 2016, I got what was supposed be just a tetanus vaccine but I later found out was the T-DAP (tetanus, diploma and pertussis). Kaiser Permanente gave me the T-DAP without telling me it was not just tetanus and through a little research, I found out that ALL T-DAP vaccines contain ALUMINUM. My allergies have gotten worse since then and I seem to have more and worse food sensitivities/allergies. And thinking back to the swine flu vaccine in 1976, I’ve struggled with depression and fatigue. I take herbs and supplements and try to eat well which helps a lot but this whole “Covid” scamdemic makes me wonder what I was actually given. I have not taken any vaccines since the 2016 “tetanus shot” and I will NEVER get a vaccine ever again, no matter how hard the MSM Mockingbird Media tries to convince me to. Especially since reading “Virus Mania” by Torsten Englebrecht et al. There are NO VIRUSES! Virology is a lie! No “virus”, no vaccines!

Some things change and some stay the same – the government and the CDC were obviously stretching the truth and outright lying to us back then. The big difference was that the 1970’s media called them out for it rather than being the lapdog purveyors of government propaganda that they are today.
