Andrei Draghici: 23-year-old Romanian water polo player exits swimming pool during a game, collapses and dies

Mr. Andrei Drăghici.

BUCHAREST — A 23-year-old professional water polo player is dead, as athletes in all sports continue dropping dead at disturbing rates.

In order to draw the best conclusions possible in these cases, it’s important to have a general understanding of the actual sport. Water polo is said to have originated in the United Kingdom in the mid-1800s. It is a full-contact, violent water sport that was once referred to as water rugby.

A water polo team consists of a goalkeeper and six field players for each team. Thus there are 14 total players in the water at any given time. Simply put, players score goals by throwing the ball into the net. Teammates can pass the ball in any direction to each other to best position themselves to attempt a goal. They can also “dribble” the ball by pushing it in front of them. You’re only allowed to hold and throw the ball with one hand. Only the goalies can use both hands to block shots. You have 30 seconds to attempt a goal on each possession. There are four, 8-minutes periods in a game.

There are several ordinary fouls in the game that result in turning the ball over to the other team. Those fouls include, but are not limited to, grabbing ball with two hands, splashing, and pushing players underwater who are not in possession of the ball. Major fouls include kicking and striking players, foul language, and disrespecting the referee. Still, players find ways to physically attack their opponents. It’s just part of the game. Players are ejected after three major fouls.

The Hungary men’s water polo team has the most Olympic gold medals (9), with Great Britain, Italy and the former Yugoslavia each with three. Serbia is the reigning Olympic champion.

Women’s Olympic water polo commenced in 2000. The United States has won three consecutive gold medals.

Death of Andrei Drăghici

Mr. Andrei Drăghici was born in Oradea, Romania, near the Hungarian border, and about 370 miles (596 km) northwest of Bucharest. His father, Cristian Drăghici, played professional soccer for the former FC Bihor Oradea in the 1980s. Andrei started playing water polo at CS Crișul Oradea, an athletic club in his hometown, when he was 9 years old. Mr. Drăghici said in an April 2018 interview that water polo became his life’s passion from that point forward. The entire interview is in the Romanian language. But some rough translations showed that the then-18-year-old set his goals at a young age.

“I play on the positions of inter and extreme right. I finished junior year last year at Steaua Bucharest and this year I am a senior at Corona Sportul Studentesc and flirted with the national team only in juniors, in U19 and U17, otherwise I was not selected for seniors, and hope to make the national senior team as well.”

Mr. Drăghici was, most recently, a member of the CS Dinamo București water polo club. The team was playing a Super League match against Rapid Bucharest on March 26. It was during the fourth period of the game when Dinamo missed an attempted goal. The team swam back towards the opponent’s goal to defend. But Mr. Drăghici stayed behind, holding the edge of the pool. The opponent’s coach, according to DigiSports, jokingly asked Mr. Drăghici “what are you doing?” He replied, “I’m sorry.”

One report says Mr. Drăghici exited the pool and collapsed from the bench. The team’s Facebook page said he lost consciousness in the pool, and was carried by both teammates and opponents. Medics immediately administered CPR, but it was too late. Mr. Drăghici was pronounced dead less than an hour later. The team made clear that Mr. Drăghici had no known medical issues.

But a few days later, another Romanian website claimed Mr. Drăghici died from “a congenital heart disease called atrial septal defect.” In other words, they want us to believe that neither Mr. Drăghici nor his professional athletic club that runs physical checkups on him, knew about this alleged congenital heart problem.

A woman named Maria emailed The COVID Blog™ claiming to be in contact with Mr. Drăghici  family. She said Mr. Drăghici was double-vaxxed with AstraZeneca and had the Pfizer booster. The only other corroboration of this is a story on a website called Information Libera. A commenter said the same thing. Coincidentally or otherwise, the author of the foregoing article is also named Maria.

So is it normal for water polo players to die during a game?

Of course mainstream media and vaxx zealots believe nobody has ever been killed or maimed by these shots. So all we can do is look at the history of water polo and determine the likelihood of this happening anytime before 2021. Water polo is a physical and violent sport. So like football, it’s possible, but not probable, to die from blunt force trauma in water polo. But we found no such cases.

A 17-year-old California girl died via drowning on January 16, 2002. She was a member of her high school water polo team. But the circumstances of how and why she drowned are a bit strange. A 24-year-old San Jose State University water polo player died of drowning on October 13, 2015. A 14-year-old boy from Utah died via drowning while playing water polo in 2021. A Weather Channel report found a fatality rate in girl’s high school water polo of 0.42 per 100,000 participants. Note that there are only about 43,000 total U.S. high school water polo players between boys and girls.

Obviously you must be an exceptional swimmer to play water polo. This blogger did not learn to swim until age 30. A U.S. Navy Seal had this immersion program where we stayed in a hotel for four days, with actual pool time lasting up to 12 hours per day. The teacher allowed students to “drown,” meaning inhale water and fill your lungs if you couldn’t stay afloat, then cough it all up. Thus it’s easy to appreciate the difficulty of a sport like water polo, and the anxiety and panic that comes from potential drowning.

The few deaths we could find related to water polo were via drowning. And again, these are some of the best swimmers in the world. From what we could find, nobody has just collapsed and/or lost consciousness spontaneously unless it was a concussion from blunt force.

Young athletes will continue dying like this for the next two years. And it will all be chalked up as coincidence by mainstream media and most of the victims’ families. But at least victims will be remembered here as casualties in this war on humanity.

Stay vigilant and protect your friends and loved ones.

Another sudden, unexpected coincidence strikes again! This is all totally normal. Coincidence is the leading cause of death in 2021!

There are many deaths in Romania, all covered up. Many died after the booster, but is always ruled out any connection with the vax. Even many young politicians, in their 40’s. Sudden death all the time.
Also in sports there were casualties and apart for the deaths, there are some that never recovered to their form after cheering they got the vax.
Larisa Iordache gymnast – gold medals in many international competitios – se had to retire from Tokyo, as she was incapacitated and also now retired completely after a few surgeries, but apart for those related to injuries she had one last year for kidney she has a stent now. She was happy to compete in Tokyo and resume her career, now she will be a trainer.
Marian Dragulescu, another gymnast, world renewed, had high hopes in Tokyo, took the vaxes as ”to protect himself” was happy and had to retire from Tokyo, he couldn’t do it after he tried, he said in tears.
There are many the same. Simona Halep, ex no 1 in Women Tennis never won anything after she publicity took Pfizer and promoted it. In a matter of few months exited the first 10 and now she is about to exit top 20. The only thing that prevented this to happen was that at Miami lots of players (women ) abandoned and many in the top 20. Miami was a preview of what is going on in sports, many many women players abandoned the competition, many played just a set or two it was like a bad movie, Tennis will need a few years to recover. Also no 1 retired and good for Ashleigh, she only took The J&J, never blamed the players that didnt took it, she even encouraged a 19 yo that missed the AO because she wasn’t vaxxed, she was blamed for standing for Olivia Gadecki. For sure her retirement at 26 yo while on 1st place had something to do with the booster mandate! Anyway Ashleigh is one of the most decent sportives ever. A real model but of course not a world wide star as she is too normal.
In Romania we have many more, I just gave a few examples. On the other side, a club owner forbidded his players to take the vax: Gigi Becali, he was a strong anti vaxer and promoter of invermectin and arbidol we were lucky to have proeminent people like him!
PS. I am not the Maria that sent the email 🙂 This is for the readers.

I follow tennis and had no idea Halep fell out the top ten. I wonder if that’s the real reason Barty retired.

Maria, thanks for your very interesting input. I’m a big tennis fan and have also noticed Halep’s slump in form but never linked it to the jab. I’ve also noted the erratic behaviour of both Aryna Sabalenka and Victoria Azarenka on court in recent times. Do you think the jab might be the reason for it? Also, I too suspect Barty’s abrupt retirement has something to do with the jab. Also, Angelique Kerber too retired from the sport suddenly last week. Johanna Konta as well last year. These may just be coincidences but the jab has created a lot of those, too!!

Correction! Kerber hasn’t retired. I got my wires crossed!! Sorry!

At least Novak Djokovic had the sense to refuse the Jab but, as a result, was banned from competing in the Australian Open. We are living in Topsy Turvy Land.

Almost everyone in the world has a congenital heart condition. It is very common. In most cases it is completely benign.

Where is your evidence? Can you point us to the studies that says this? What percentage of people have this condition? If I have it how do I know? Oh yes some governments are saying we need to get tested after age 40. I heard that. (After 2 very famous sportsman dying suddenly recently) So yes please share all you know.

World class athletes have always died after competition and in their sleep. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.

Great comment, Hal! My wife read your comment to me, and we both had a sardonic chuckle. Ignorance is Strength, indeed.

Sports are destined to become a complete freak show. The few pro athletes who sat out instead of taking the shots will be worshipped as gods with their only competition being unvaccinated scrubs moving up the ranks as other vaccinated pro athletes retire permanently.

The transgender wars regarding unfair advantage over their competitors today could be the same story for the unvaccinated tomorrow.

I guess the question is whether a trans-female swimmer if vaccinated might lose to an unvaccinated female? That might be a good way to level the playing field

Romania’s Famous Football Club Steaua Bucharest Bans Vaccinated Players From Competing

Gigi Becali, the owner of possibly Romania’s most famous football club, Steaua Bucharest, has declared that his team is set to enforce a ban on players who have been jabbed with a COVID-19 vaccine.

Becali’s reason behind the move may sound surprising to many, because according to him, vaccinated footballers are “powerless” and no longer possess the strength to perform at the highest level of the game in the country.

“You’re going to laugh, but I might be right. Those vaccinated lose their strength. That’s something scientific”, he said, as per journalist Emanuel Rosu.

Becali, who is a wealthy businessman and politician in the Eastern European nation, argued that even his side’s biggest rivals in the Romanian league, CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti, have seen their problems escalate after their players got vaccinated.

He also claimed that his team’s winger Ciprian Deac was struggling, as the coronavirus vaccine doses were having a much severe impact on older footballers. Deac is 36.

“Haven’t you seen it at CFR? With Rapid, the players seemed to be fainting. They slept on the ground. All vaccinated people lose their strength!” Becali added.

“I also see mine, the vaccinated ones. It doesn’t affect some, but it does affect those who are older. Haven’t you seen [Ciprian] Deac? There is no more storm”, he concluded.

What is the common thread with nearly all persons collapses captured on video. Where it’s an athlete or non-athlete. Remember the Comedian female who was on stage, that she shared with the audience she’s a human jab cushion. She began to ramp up, her adrenaline increased, she experiencing an Adrenaline rush, BAM down she went.
Watching her brought on this as a discussion bet me and my adult daughter. Her best friend within days of getting Moderna ” first and only injection” she had a severe reaction. Doctor confirmed it was indeed the Vax up front. This was when the jabs first came out 2021. She was bamboozled into getting it by a family member. She is 30 yrs old. Her thyroid took the hit, her weight literally plummeted in weeks, she is rail thin to begin with. She was diagnosed with a tumor, and possible cancer at first. The doctor she was seeing recommended she have surgery and have her thyroid removed. I told my daughter tell her get a 2nd opinion. She did have a biopsy and it came back ” Atypical” Which means what was found isn’t abnormal yet isn’t defined either. She did not opt for surgery. She instead is under care of a Holistic MD who is treating her with nutrients, supplements, diet. She is doing much better, her future health is unknown. She has suffered tremendously mentally and physically. She is a mother of two children under 10.
It all points to Adrenals, Nervous System.

The Athletes, they crash and burn ” while heightened” in action. They within the catalyst action of their sport, high adrenaline, they spiral out, heart attacks etc. There must be a trigger with high adrenaline that charges a transition in the brain, sympathetic nervous system (caused by jab). The videos of speakers at podiums, possibly nerves, sudden adrenaline rush and they pass out. Flight or Fight kicking in high. Website explaining the Sympathetic Nervous system. https://www.kenhub.com/en/library/anatomy/sympathetic-nervous-system

I believe that panicking due to a chest pain, and then thinking you could die from the vax, can also kill the vaxxed.
You dont have to be running around in full sport mode.

Many strokes occur during heated moments too, as well as cardiac arrests.

Nothing to see here folks–perfectly normal for a young, virile, athletic man to suddenly die of a heart defect.

Swimmers in general have one of the most vigorous training sessions than any other sports. I know this because I have personal experience with swimming and football/soccer/baseball players cannot keep up with swimmers.

SOOOOOO, for anyone to discount this tragedy as anything but a vax injury, is delusional.

I predict that “chalking it up to coincidence” in MSM is in its last days, maybe to the end of the year, because news talking heads will find it too risky to lie so boldly to an increasingly desperate, angry, grieving viewership. Experiencing losses locally or in sports will be the reality that shatters the illusion. That’s what illusions do when reality hits the fan.

Thank you Janyuary what you wrote rings so true, the lie almost worn out to see-through stage, even the tv announcers becoming part of the desperate and angry.
