VIENNA, AUSTRIA — Austria’s Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) is suspending administration of Oxford/AstraZeneca viral vector “vaccines” after one death and another severe adverse effect.
The agency reported yesterday that a 49-year-old woman died of severe coagulation disorder after the shot. That means she started spontaneously bleeding; and it didn’t stop until she died. German news outlet n-tv reported that the woman is a nurse and that she received the first dose of the shot ten days earlier. The other woman is a 35-year-old nurse who suffered a pulmonary embolism. She is in the hospital recovering, according to government officials. Both of them worked at Landeskrankenhaus Zwettl hospital in the state of Lower Austria.
BASG said that there is “no causal relationship” between the viral vector shots and the two incidents. One batch (ABV 5300) of the shots may be the culprit, officials said. The shots are being halted as a precautionary measure during the investigation. An AstraZeneca spokesperson said no adverse effects have been confirmed anywhere in the world as a result of its shots. The company said it fully supports the investigation.
Viral vector dangers
The United States authorized the Johnson & Johnson viral vector shots for emergency use last week. These shots are experimental, just like the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA shots. Clinical trials are ongoing and expected to span at least another two years.
